    Revit Structure Wall Material

In Revit on a project I have lower ground floor and ground floor and I am trying to distinguish between walls and column that merge, therefore I am putting them on different shades

I set the walls light grey
I set the columns dark grey

    However
On Lower Ground floor all the walls are all dark grey with the walls displayed as I want on ground floor.
This is exactly the same wall and same material
Visual style and detail level are the same

    Any ideas?

How are u controlling them? Filters, Manual Overide, Material, model cat override etc?

If filters provide info on the filter and order of them. Maybe a screenshot.

unless you have done some kind of visual over ride, your columns AND your walls will have their color controlled by MATERIAL
(which you stated was the same material)

And that is where your problem is.

You will need to add a filter, or a Visibility Options override

        Thank you.

I had a visual over-ride in place and i managed to correct the problem

        Thanks
