Walls in Coarse detail

I'm doing my foundation plan in coarse, I want to show some walls as if they were in fine detail view. I can go to my visibility graphics and change the detail level for the walls to fine, but that will cahnge of my walls. Is there a way to have it so that the plan detail view is in coarse and some walls will be in fine? I was thinking using filters, would that be one way to go or is there a better way?

I think filters would be the best way to do this.

Why would you need to different detail level in the same sheet?
Why not override patterns and/or lines for the categories you need?

I can think of a few reasons why I would want some walls at a different detail level in on the same sheet. I would go with a filter before overriding the pattern for elements. One thing I got to thinking about though is that you might also try to set up Phases, and use phase filters rather than filters but keep in mind, phase filters are monodirectional, so you may not be able to get exactly what you want all the way through.

Good catch, I didn't even think to look at that. So detail level is not an option when filtering, so you are stuck with using an other method, element by element, worksets, phases, or grouping (not recommended) are about the only other options I see out there.
