    Revit Rebar Shape Parameters

    Hi all,

    First post here. I'm having a problem with 'Revit Rebar Shape Parameters'. I am trying to modify the rebar shapes so that the parameters meet the British Standards 8666:2005. Therefore I need a formula that will mean 'A' will be greater than or equal to '5 * Bar Diameter'. My attempts seem to not work and throw warning messages every time. Any help or advice? Anyone managed to achieve a similar end product?

    What does A control?

    The easiest method I can think of is to use two parameters - one as a control and one as a calculation.

    A=user input value
    A2=calculation
    Diameter

    if(A<Diameter*5,Diameter*5,A)

    if A is less than D*5 then use D*5 otherwise use A
