Do you save a generic family set o Struct framing as framing member or as Component in your library

If you create a new family using a Generic Family but change it to a Structural Framing – do you save it and name it as Structural Framing member or as a Loadable Family in your library?
The reason I ask is when you place a framing member you expect a certain behaviour from it ie it has an end and start point while some generic components might not.

If you want the family to work as a framing member start off making the framing member with the correct template. The changing of category will not give you all the needed items with in the family to make a fully functioning framing member. Compare the Generic Family to the Structural Framing Family. You will see the differences.
