    Pipe Size Incorrect

Why does my 1/2" pipe show the size to be 1" (under dimensions in it's properties). These are OOTB cold water pipes. It seems everything rounds to the nearest inch. 1.25 is 1". 1.5 is 2" and so on. This makes tagging the pipes pretty useless. What am I missing?

Check under Project Units -> Piping -> Pipe Size and make sure the Rounding is set to something appropriate like 1/8". If that doesn't work, check under Mechanical Settings -> Pipe Sizes and look at your pipe diameters there.

Aaron, you are quickly becoming my MEP teacher.

Project units was the culprit. Working in architectural all the time, I never had to change anything other than the "common" units.

Why the hell would they default pipe sizing to the nearest inch?

Glad to help! This is a question you'll be asking yourself often in the Revit MEP world. :banghead:
