Wye Connection off sloped main pipe

I'm on the architectural side of things playing with RME so i'm not really too familiar with this (although have read the shortcomings of sloping pipe):

I'm having trouble getting a clean WYE connection off the sloped main. It seems to add all these extra fittings when I try to slope a branch off of it (un-sloped as well).

The only way I can get this to work is using Connect Into directly from the fixture to the main. It only goes in a straight line and it doesn't slope (I have to slope it afterward). I then split straight branch pipe, pull it back and angle it in plan and move it down the main run, then trim it back to the straight branch.

Although I can get to the desired result, I'd like to be able to draw directly off the main and then to the fixture without all these extra fittings. First two images are how I want it to look, the next two are the result of drawing directly off the main sanitary line.

Which fitting are you using for your Wye? It looks like the Sanitary Tee, which can give mixed results when not used at 90°. A Wye fitting should come off at a 45° angle, and there is one in the OOTB library.

Thanks for the reply. I tried out the WYE fitting. What I did was first place the WYE fitting on the main sloped pipe first and then draw sloped pipe from the WYE fitting to the fixture. Works great.

I would like to be able to draw pipe directly off the main without having to place the fitting first though. I edited the WYE fitting, changed its part type to TEE in (Family Category and Parameters). Set it as the Tee type in the PVC Pipe Type. I then draw off the main - same result as above. Weird thing is if i delete the extra fitting and then draw directly from the fitting, it works fine. Its like it doesn't rotate itself properly for the slope orginally. This happens with all angles even 90 deg.

Would really like to be able to just draw directly off the main without placing a fitting first then having to draw.

I think i know what the problem is. I repeated the steps you went through and everything worked fine for me, but I was able to reproduce your result by not acquiring the pipe elevation when drawing the branch off the main. When you start drawing the branch at your 45° angle (come off the main an arbitrary distance) and press the space bar. If you watch the elevation indicator, you will see that the start elevation of the pipe changes. This starts the pipe at the exact elevation of the fitting and will eliminate the extra "offset" fitting that gets added.
