    Hi Guys,

Does anyone take a model to this level of detail. I’m talking pipe & duct hangars, containment bracketry.

It seems ootb Revit is limited for this application. There are no basket trays etc.

I’m aware of some other products or even Revit bolt ons that can enhance this workflow but I’m interested to see how others are doing this.

Generally only if it's a critical area or a lot of other disciplines need it for clearance checking.

Hangers? Absolutely. On most coordination jobs. But the subs will model it in an AutoCAD based vertical. Generally not in Revit.

What do you use for this, are you using Revit for it or another package?

Also is anyone using cable basket? At the moment we use Revit containment and populate a parameter to give it identity then tag it but I have seen examples in models with actual basket tray.
