Text symbols problem in Revit 2018

    Hello,

I just moved from revit 2017 to 2018. I had nice template file with all tags etc. When I try to use them in 2018 the text symbols (cubed, square, greek leters) look very strange. The attached picture will explain everything.

Changing fonts inside tag families didn't help.

    Any ideas?

I'm afraid I can't say specifically why your characters look different, but Revit's Text rendering was radically redone in 2016.
Bottom line, the old way Revit did Text was not very flexible, and was incompatible with how other software rendered Text.
That was Text in 2017, but they didn't apply the same changes to Labels (Tags) until 2018.
So that's why, but what you can do about it, I don't know. From the looks of your image, I'd say maybe there's language difference?

It's part of the Knowledge Base, an issue with 2018. They recommend installing the latest update.
