    Revit Energy Analysis No Cooling

    Hello!
Is it possible to run an energy analysis in Revit without considering the Air Conditioning System for the cooling load? I think it is possible, because there are a lot of places where It is ridiculous to install Air conditioning System in the summer.

Are the results Site Energy or Source Energy?

You might want to repost this in the MEP threads.

You'll get the right type of people to read this over there.

I do a lot of energy modeling and load calculation and I can tell you that the energy analysis and load calculation functions in Revit are several generations away from being commercially useful. (Assuming of course that Autodesk started making ANY improvements in this area.)

Your best (only?) bet is to do a gbXML export into a software that's made for energy modeling and load calculation, because as of right now, that is not Revit.
