    Line weight

Hi, I'm sure that you have seen other posts on this and I have been going through the ones I could find but nothing is helping. I am trying to set the line weight of my equipment. I have a few parts that are ending up as black blobs even though I have the line weight for that category set to 1. The parts are designated as mechanical equipment and they are parts that I got from the company website and I had to import them into revit. Any help would be great.

Update on this. If I just import the .SAT file it has thin lines but then I don't have a way to connect it to my system. Importing it into a family and then adding pipe connection points to it is when it comes in with thick lines and looks like the blob.
