    Revit schedule into Excel

Is there a way to bring a revit schedule into an excel spread sheet?

    #2
There are several add-ins that can do this.
I use the basic method. Simply open a schedule View in Revit and go to the Revit Icon then choose export, Reports, Schedule. Then a .txt file will be created. Simply open this .txt in Excel and accept the standard import set up and you have your info in Excel.

Hi DMapes, is there a way to select multiple schedules and export at once, or do we have to do each, one at a time?
      Thanks

There are allot of Add-ins that can export schedules some that can do multiple. If you are using the basic export as I describe above then one at a time is the only option you have.
        Thanks,
        Dan

          Ben,

Like Dan mentioned, there are several add-ins that have been created for this very thing. While some are free, some you have to purchase. Most, if not all, of them can be found on the Autodesk Exchange Website.
