What, if any, is the difference of creating furniture in the Furniture System family template compared to the Furniture family template?
Ciao for now.
I think it all comes down to scheduling. Furniture is typically loose items (I.E. a chair, a desk) whereas furniture systems are usually entire set ups such as an office cubicle (desks, chair, shelving, etc...).
This was discussed earlier in this thread. And just had a quick new look in the Seek Style guide, and based on that, Furniture Systems are mainly for Partitions, Storage and Work Surfaces... So yah, Reviteer is right.
Okay, think I have it!
The Furniture System family would be used for furniture that's modular or commercial in an office context.
The Furniture family would be used for the chair uncle Peter made or the fine antique pipe stand and lamp pedestal next to the couch.
I'm still in two minds on which family to make my items in though. Which family would be more correct to use for Retail Store shelving and racking?
My dear there is big difference between furniture system family and furniture family template. But i think furniture system can be easily created and moderate comparatively with furniture family template.I will send you further details later.
