Seeking : Architect & BIM / Revit Leader Phoenix, Arizona
richärd + bauer architecture is seeking an architect who is a BIM / Revit thought leader.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5+ years with experience in design, documentation, and modeling
In-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions
Ability to use time productively and meet challenging work goals with minimal guidance
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with parametric modeling software (e.g. Dynamo, Grasshopper) desired
Registered architect preferred
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Management
Assess the firm’s current BIM process
Create a plan for project implementation & goal setting
Execute the project implementation plans, template creation, provide training
Review BIM goals & lessons learned at project completion
Future planning for BIM uses & thought leadership
Project Support
Support project standards and coordination with staff & consultants
Assist on project work – modeling and detailing
Assist project teams in BIM project setup
Create Revit families in response to project needs
Help resolve BIM design issues / troubleshoot problems
Incorporate BIM best practices during all project phases
Standards Refinement
Responsible for BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement
Creation and maintenance of the template files
Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity
Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards
Oversee users to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the architectural Revit model
Training
Internal continuing education Revit Architecture training sessions
Provide technical orientation to new hires regarding BIM tools
Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use & training
