    Family Annotation Visibility Problems

I'm relatively new to RME 2012. Have built a 3D faceplate with voice/data jacks inserted into the faceplate. The faceplate turned out fine in 3D. I then made an annotation symbol (triangle) to represent the device in Floor Plan>Ref. Level. The symbol and the labels look fine in terms of shape. The problem is that although I set the Object Styles for the triangle to line weight 4, when it is loaded in to the family is still shows up really thin (ie. lineweight 1). I went into the loaded family as a whole and tried to over-ride the object styles there with no success. Any suggestions on how to resolve would be appreciated.

You should set the Object Style in the project instead of in the family itself. In the family you only create and assign Subcategories. In the project you assign the proper settings. If you don't it reverts to Category defaults (which in your case is a thin lineweight)
