    Array to 2nd or Last?

I have been making families for some years. When it comes to using Array in family, I always remember to use array to "last" and it had worked out just fine for me. I admit that when I first learned how to build family by going thru the on-line video, I was told only using array to "last" and never use to "2nd".
Lately, I have talked to some Revit peer regards to Array, and I notice that they use the other option "2nd" for the array, and they told me that how they have been doing it.
So, that got my curiosity started and I wanted to post this question to all the Revit users to see how you are dealing with array.
Thanks and look forward to your comments!

I use array (to last) when I want something to stretch/expand/fill/populate something across a given distance.

I use array (to second) when I want something to repeat/occur/happen/space something across an incremental distance.

      Exactly like snowy...
To Last when you have a fixed endpoint and the amount of arrays varies.
To Second when you have a variation in endpoint depending on the amount of arrays / when you have a fixed distance between two elements of the array

        +1 with me.

And I always use the constrain option.

Interesing point on how you use both options.
I did remember to use array to 2nd in a few cases but it seems like I have better control when I use Array to Last.
Will probably investigate a bit further when I have time later. Thanks for the comments.
