    If statement formular - Help

    Hi everybody

    I'm having some trouble with an if statement formular. I'm new to the if formulars and maybe I can't do, what I wanna do.

    My goal is to return the largest value of two area values.
    In this case my parameter value Area1, and not "Area1".

    My formular is like this: And i have attatched a image as well.

    if(Area1 > Area2, "Area1", "Area2")

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi again.

    I found a solution on my own.

    I change the parameter type, so all of them are the same, in my case area.

    Then my formular looks like this:

    if(Area1 > Area2, Area1, Area2)

    Then it returns the largest of the two values to my parameter container.

    Thanks in advance

      Glad you figured it out.
      But it was the quote marks that were the problem, not the parameter type.
      Although it might have been both.

        FYI, It might not matter, but that formula will return Area2 in the case they are both equal. (Area1 is not greater than Area2) You can rearrange their order to determine which one will be returned if they are equal.
