    Adding label to generic annotation

    Hi,

I am returning to revit after a longer-than-expected absence.

I am trying to create an annotation symbol for a 3D object, similar to the attached 'L_Single_SSO' file.

However, during my absence I have forgotten the art of family creation.

Can anyone advise how to add a label to a generic annotation? As per the 'Height' label on the attached 'Single_SSO_Symbol' file.

    Thanks

You have to create a parameter for your generic annotation family (Type, Common, Text, Text).
Then in the Create Tab, click on Label, then select the parameter you have just created by clicking on the green arrow pointing right.

    Hope this helps.
