Difference between generic model and conceptual mass

I can do with generic model as conceptual mass except floors.
Why don't integre conceptual mass in generic model and have one template ?

See my response in the other thread, about family categories. The modeling environments are completely different. Conceptual massing does not use the primitives that generic models do.

Well it kind of does. You can create the same primitive geometry as generic modelling but the creation method differs slightly (create form vs. extrusion button) conceptual massing allows more geometry types such as lofting and pattern based form generation.
