    Dumb question I'm afraid:

    I'm working up a conceptual mass family, but need some idea of what floor m2 I'm creating as I go. What the best way..?

    Create Levels, then Mass Floors, then create an Area Schedule the Mass Floors.

      Add levels to the CM Family. Now you can create Mass Floors and analyze these. Here's the wiki page

        Got it. But only loaded in the Project environment. You can't get this info in 'real time' as you're manipulating the mass?

          Nope, you'll have to make due with parameters there.

            Yes--it does need to be loaded into a Project.
            However, from inside the Project,
            You can highlight the Mass family and edit in place, then finish Mass.
            The Mass Floors and Area Schedule will update.
