    Object display in existing phase

In my typical ADA toilet & grab bar family I have the ADA clearances sketched in with detail lines so they show up on plans to keep everyone happy - all fine and good in new construction. When I switch the toilet over to an existing phase the ADA lines show up as a solid line, rather than the dashed line that it should be. Other than an instance paramater is there a way to configure the family to either keep the lines shown dashed or hide them completely in an existing phase? I briefly toyed with an override in VG but the phase override seems to take precedence.

Tell your Phase override to only override color and lineweight, and not linestyle, and it should be fine...
