    column display and architectural wall

    Rendering - post.jpg

I am frustrated, trying to get the box showing for this column that's placed inside the architectural wall. If anyone got this figured out, please let me know how to set it up.

    thank you.

What's the general rule on using architectural columns? It seems they are great for pilasters and decorative columns but not much else. Am I correct on that?

what does it mean under floor plans? have you draw the X as symbolic lines in the family editor? Also the X lines should be visible at your desired level of detail if you set it in the Visibility Setings panel (button available in family editor if you select the X lines)

use model or detail lines in your floor plan view in the family
