    Attaching Walls to Stair

Is their a way to attache a wall to a stair? I have a tunnel that steps up and I am wanting to attach the wall to the stair. I am looking for something other than editing profile.

In place wall, void sweep. Or model your stair as a roof....;-)

If it's a continuous angle (monolithic stair for instance) you can draw (& lock if you want) a Reference plane at the underside of the stair and attach the wall to the Refplane.

I second and use Bjorn-K method for none curved monolithic stairs.

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

That works for when the wall is on the underside of the stair, but if it is on the top you get some odd looks at the ends of the stairs.

              Am I getting closer ?
Wall attach base (or and Top) to ref planes. Then cheat with split face and paint material (stair material)

Those all look like I had hoped (other than the triangular piece at the base on the final image). I kind of figured that RP or edit profiles was the only way. I typically tell our revit users to never use edit profiles, but looks like this may be an exception. I do find it odd that the "attach" tool does not work with stairs. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Edit profile to change the height is generally a bad idea (Revit will kick a warning) but for odd shapes I don't see any reason not to use it.
