When Column is attached to Roof

When I attach a column to a sloped roof, the intersection is not good ( not like attach a wall). How must I do ?

You'll likely need to tweak the column family and introduce an angle parameter (use Reference Lines) to control how the column meets the roof.

When attaching column, try playing with these different settings in the "options bar" for how the column cuts (attaches), plenty of options and worth having a play.

mark b is correct. Also there are column attachment styles in the properties of the column. But I think these only apply when attaching to other structural members such as beams...

Because you're not using a structural column and that feature doesn't work for architectural columns ?
