    Generic Annotation Always Vertical

Help before I waste more time. Is there anyway to get a generic annotation label to be always vertical.

I figured so much... but it never hurts to state the obvious. I wouldn't know then. This is exactly what this check mark is there for to my knowledge.

I thought "rotate with component" was for Tag families, I am not really sure it does anything for straight "Generic Annotation" Families

I am not sure if there is a built in way to solve this problem, but one way may be to nest in the text element as a separate Generic Annotation family, then all you need to do is place one for each orientation of the family, you can then control which label shows with a visibility family

It would require manual adjustment for each placement, or you could just make two types if that is easier..

I don't get these kind of quirks. Why put the check in, if it doesn't do anything??? So make it work, or delete it all together...

              Thanks Ben
Tried this approach but seems clunky. "Always vertical" seems like a simple request for annotation ??
