    Moving Named Reference Planes

Either I never noticed this before, it's new to 2012, or something is messed up, but:

When I move a named reference plane in my project, the name disappears and anything associated to that plane becomes disassociated. It only happens with the move command. If I just drag it, it works as it should.

    What's up with that??

That' what I thought. What a pain. I guess it's not as bad as my ribbon changing tool locations at every start up. :hide:

I can second this. Its how my framing lost is association in a previous thread.

It is kind of exciting to see how it turns out when restarting...

I see this when using Move WITH "Disjoin", which is really a "cut and paste" operation "behind the scenes". I don't see it happening with move without it or when dragging.

This is what I was thinking as well. Forgetting that Disjoin is checked can lead to many issues, most of the time it at least gives you a warning.

Brilliant!! I had just checked disjoin to move some other stuff and forgot to put it back. That is exactly the issue. Thanks Steve!

If you don't mind, I'm reposting this in the tips and tricks section.
