I propose to change the May winner by Ekkonap, for the original post from March, by Klaus Munkholm, in that thread: "Formulas for 'everyday' usage". That is, in my opinion, the post of the year. I have not seen any other document about formulas for Revit, not even in the Revit help articles or in any book, that is more complete and useful than that post by Klaus.

Geeze, way to bias the poll Alf.

I'm thinking it's definately top 3. Aaron's "how to build a template" post is pretty sensational as well. 33 reasons to not see it in the view is nice as well.

I don't know if I should vote on the posts that helped me the most in my day to day Revit activities, or the best thread that may be something I'd never use, but that I'd never even think could be done. Hmmmmm.

:banghead: I see what you were saying now Alf. I voted for the formulas one thinking it was for Munk for starting the thread. Not that ekkonap's post wasn't great. But Munk put the whole thread in motion. Oh well.

Not to bash on ekkonap... I second this!!! The OP of the thread should be the winner for at least this year.

I voted based off the direct help I received as well as how much information is stored in the whole thread. Some of these threads are still alive after months and months. Def looking forward to Martijn's blog post about post of the year.

Well I don't second... Loved klaus' post, and yes: it might have been in my top 3. But it didn't get selected... Life sucks. I do propose however for an 11th option: "other", to be specified in a post.

Btw: thanks alex. Haven't even gotten around to the last potm. Now you pin this one on me too?
Anyway, i'll give it a shot in the weekend...

Well, doesn't matter which post wins PotY, that formula thread will likely always be MoaT (Mother of all Threads) to me. I suspect everyone is voting for the thread as much as any one post, there and in some other cases as well perhaps. And since the winner doesn't actually, um, GET anything, I guess that is alright.

All's well that ends with great posts exposed to a wider audience.

Edit: Just to clarify, the above is my opinion as a member, not a statement as an Administrator.
