    Trial version help

    Hi Guys
I have been studying my Revit Architecture books for the past few weeks and now want to get my feet wet and give the trial program a go, can you answer a couple of questions.
Is it better to down load the program or request a trial CD to be posted, I ask as I am not sure of the program size and my internet is slow. Also is it easier to install from a CD?
Is the trial version of Revit Architecture a full version of the program, or does it have some functions disabled?
If I decide to buy the program, do I have to re install a purchased version of Revit or do Autodesk just give me a registration number to remove the 30 day restriction?
    Thanks Guys

    Hi Dodge.

    Good questions:

    1. The trial version is the full version but is time limited to 30 days. After the 30 days it will still run but you will not be able to save anything that you do.

    2. The size of the Revit install is a bit over 3 Gb so it is quite large and then during installation it connects to the web and downlaods content.

    3. If your internet connection/ bandwidth can not cope with that I suggest that you contact one of your local resellers of Autodesk Software and get them to post it to you. That way it should get to you quicker.

    Cheers

O, and if you do decide to purchase, you can simply enter the activation codes / serial numbers you receive then. No need to reinstall.

Wow it is a large program, I think the posting DVD is the way to go.
        Thanks for the quick answers.
