    Auto Area Plan

    Hi All,
Whne creating a new level in a project you can specify to create an associated floor or ceiling plan. Is it possible to add into this selection an area plan?
i twould be nice to have the option to creat an area plan for each new floor level.

    Cheers

No you can't. I think the logic there is that area plans need to be associated with a specific area scheme.
When you create area plans you do have the option to create plans for all levels at the same time so it's pretty painless.

Plus, when you create a new Area Plan, you can have Revit automatically find all of the Exterior Walls on that Level.
Wouldn't do you much good if you're making a new Level, and there aren't any Exterior Walls yet.

besides, an Area Plan isn't really a separate thing. It's a floor plan with a view template on top of it...
