    jpeg on 3D view

hello, i was quite disappointed when i realised that an image can't be seen on a 3D view. example, in order to show where a (small) building will be created i had the idea to put a sky picture (taken from google maps for example) on my floorn view, the picture was at the right palce, at the right scale everything seems to be alright but when i went on my 3D view i didn"'t see any image does anyone know how i can see a picture on a 3D view? You can use a Decal, if its Rendered or in Realistic Mode.

Placing an "Image" in a view has never made it show up in another view, especially not a 3D view, in Revit. Ever.
