    Floor Pattern Line Weights

I could have swore that I could change the lineweight of a model pattern without affecting all the patterns on a view...

Or I could have been dreaming...

Can't you override it by element?

You can override the boundary but not the pattern...

I thought there was some kind of combo thing you had to do to override the pattern lineweight... :/

YEah, there is. I posted a thread about it in the tips and tricks section. But, I can't remember how to do it.

I'll look, hold on a sec...

Nevermind, it was on changing the cut pattern. Not a surface pattern. But it may still work?? Here's the link to the thread.

Thanks...that was the thread/post I was thinking of. And its what I tried..oh well, guess I can just use a transparent fill pattern.

At the bottom of the Clinic post it even says the alternative is a fill pattern that can adjust the lineweight.

Oh well, maybe one of these days I won't have to think CAD to get something done.

Yeah you can use that trick, I meant you can't override model patterns...

Not answering the question, but hope this is helpful...

We find that changing the color of the pattern rather than the line weight gives us pretty decent results. We bounce around between medium gray and light gray. Depends on whether it's condoc or presentation.
