    Sloped Ceilings

Is there a way to slope a ceiling in two different directions or have a section flat and a section sloped within the same room?. What I am doing is drawing two different ceilings, one flat and one pitched and then joining them. It works but would be easier to do it within one ceiling boundary.

    Thanks - Kevin

    Presently? Can't be done. :banghead:

If you can live without tagging & scheduling it (as a ceiling) you can use a roof.

Personally, I model seperate ceilings - and suffer the slight break at their edges - as I like my ceiling tag & schedules.

You can model as separate ceilings, or you could model them as one ceiling by creating an in-place ceiling. I use in-place ceilings a lot for those unusual ceilings. Works great and you can tag/schedule it.

I do like to tag the ceilings so the roof option doesn't appeal to me. I have never used the in-place ceiling so I may give it a try. The current method works just not as easy as I think it should be. Thanks for the replies.
