    Assemblies

So I am trying to use assemblies for metal stud panels and everything seems to be working well, however I cannot figure out how to put on the assembly sheet a count of how many of a particular assembly I have???

You can create a new schedule and for Assemblies.

In Properties of the Assembly, give it a Mark and Description.

Add those Fields to your Quantity Schedule, and there you go.

Edit: However, since Assemblies can only go on special Assembly Sheets, I'm not sure you can place the Schedule on the sheet with the Assembly? Have not tried this...........It would be nice if Assemblies go be placed on "normal" Sheets as well. LOL

You cannot have an assembly schedule (standard view) on an assembly sheet.
The workaround I use is: save assembly sheet as an image (sick) and put it on a normal sheet with area 2d and 3d views. I said workaround :-(......

Sounds like a Wishlist request, if it's not already there. I'll check and post if it's not.

        Edit: Placed on Wishlist.
