Walls from floor below interfering with room creation on current floor

I have attached an image depicting the issue with the walls on the floor below (shown in blue) interfering with room creation on the current floor I am working on.

The floor and the shell of the building is existing, and the interior walls are all new construction if that makes a difference.

The interfering walls below, are attached to the underside of the floor (existing).

When the walls are detached from the underside of the floor, the issue goes away. BUT, this shouldn't be the case. Usually this isn't an issue, so I think this is a temporary work around.

Can you cut a section through there showing the levels, walls, and floor?

i would start with the Underlay view parameter...you may to fiddle with that to see what the different results are.

then i would consider setting the top offset of the walls to something like -6" , i mean i can't think of a real reason why the header/track would have to touch the top of the floor?
