Parapet cap sweep on a sloped wall?

    Hi guys,

The title says it all. Is there a way to add a sweep to the top of a sloped wall? I've added it to the wall construction and also tried a separate sweep, but they both only go horizontal.

    Thanks

    Nope. Use the fascia tool.

First, create a profile for the cap. Then, draw model lines around the top of the building. Then, use the fascia tool on the model lines.

Check out post #22 here. Martijn did a nice write up explaining how to do it.

Yeah we have... Don't worry, I'll keep passing the credit to whom it belongs...

And the link works for me.

Well, you taught me how to do it. And your post has more pretty pictures than Mark's.

Plus, you have a "j" in the middle of your first name, and a de starting your last one, which is just cool.

              Well, that sounds reasonable...
