Structural Elements "Bleeding" through roof and walls

    Hi All,

A small matter which has annoyed me for a while.

If I model some structural framing under a roof or inside a wall, the structural beams are visible if partially or fully zoomed out. ie zoom to fit or zoom all.

As one zooms in to the roof, the structural beams disappear and one can only see the roof cladding.

The structural beams are set 50mm below the roof cladding which is modeled as 20mm thick.

I am guessing that as the two elements are close together, Revit, when zoomed out, is unable to differentiate the small distance between them and displays both the roof and the structural beam under.

    Any other thoughts?

It's a visual thing. Happens to me all the time, with different video cards (supported and unsupported). And has been this way since I can remember. Annoying indeed, but I don't think there's a resolution for it.

Turn off the "Strucutral Framing" catagory.... Prob will turn off too many things for you though.

Yep, turning off the Structural Framing category also turns off the pergola!
