    Design Options + Materials

    Hi all,

Can someone help me with using design options to show differing materials?
I fully understand how the design options actually work, that's no issue. What I can't seem to get to work is the differing materials for each of the design options. ie
    Do 1=Brickwork
    DO 2=Render
    DO 3=Stone

    Are you sure?
If you want to use Design Options with different materials you'll need to replace them per DO.
    For instance walls:
Let's say your primary DO is brickwork.
Create 2 extra DO's Render and Stone.
Add the original wall with brickwork to the primary DO.
Redraw the wall in the two other DO's but with matching types / materials applied.
    Done.

      Thanks Martijn,
Yes, I am sure I understand the design option functionality, thank you
Had a brain fade, for some reason I thought you could have one wall with 3 different finishes ie a finish defined by the design option, not the geometry.
Not sure why it thought that though.

I wish this was the case.

Would be nice to have the paint tool be aware of Design Options...
