    Vectorworks to Revit

How can I get a Vectorworks VWX file into Revit? I understand it cannot be imported directly. Is the best method to have the VWX files saved to DWG?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Anthony.

You might try getting the VW model into IFC format and importing that into Revit.

The 3D dwg is another way. Either way, you will not have a good experience, and you will most likely end up re-modeling it in Revit.

The IFC model will have little or no "intelligence"--so at best you will end up with a 3D model as context only inside of Revit.

What options do you have to export in Vectorworks

As Cliff stated my experience has not been good, would also like to know anyone else's workaround?

Looks like .SAT might work--exports from VW and Revit will import it?

Which would probably also just give you a dumbened down version... That will probably be the case with any import.
