    Creating Perspective View

looking to create perspective view from 3D revit default view(isometric) without placing camera.

    Thanks

Sorry, that's how you get there from here. 3D views have a Perspective parameter (check box) but it is read only. They don't provide away to "toggle" a view from one mode to the other.

The only way a perspective view can exist is to place a camera--just they way Revit is built.

Now if the reason you want to change an axon to a perspective is because you have a bunch of graphic tweaks in the view that you now realize should be a perspective, you can make a temporary View Template in the axon, then apply it in the perspective. Any Override by element stuff will be lost, but that will likely be somewhat different, and should really be your last resort for graphic tweaks anyway.
If this isn't why you are hoping to convert an axon to a perspective then apologies for the tangent.

It looks like toggling between parallel and perspective views is available in some 2015 software: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/suppo...851ED-htm.html

Yes it's been added. We can switch back and forth between Axon and Perspective in views that are created initially using the Camera View tool. They have also allowed a few editing tools to be used while working in a view created with the camera view tool.
