    Fascia Not Cutting Roof Edge

*sigh* yet another problem that probably has an easy solution.

I have a roof. It has several structural components, see screen shot.
Basicallyl, I created a built up fascia using a profile. Easy enough. When I put it on the roof edge, the "stepped in" part of the fascia doesn't cut the roof. Is this normal??

I just thought of this: Is there a way to incorporate a masking region in a profile? I'll check into that. But, in the mean time, help.

Well, I waited patiently for over 2 hours. I know it's late, but the deadline is tonight.

Then, I had an epiphany. I wonder if you can join a roof and fascia? Well, you can! Hit join, selected the fascia, then the roof. Problem solved.

Something tells me that if this happened during the day, I would have tried that first before posting. Work + late night hours = brain dead.
