    Summarizing Schedules

    Picture is downloaded from this site. Picture made by mdradvies. How did he have shown only 1 row of final result?
    I have now mega long list of same generic model. So how to make only 1 row of all same generic models with final count result?
    I hope you understand my question, didn sleep 30h

    Just uncheck the "Itemize every instance" option.

        Here comes more questions !

        1. Is it possible to add Fe walls and floors together in the schedule to takeoff same material?

        2. How to add to schedule instance parameters? in my case its generic model

          1. Yes, but you´ll need a "Multi Category" schedule.
          2. The instance parameter needs to be a shared parameter.

            As for your first question: keep in mind that the summarizing depends on the parameters you're sorting on. For instance:
            If you have a bunch of Generic Models on 2 different levels you have 2 options:
            - Sorting on Level, then on type. Summarizing will be per level
            - Sorting on Type only. Summarizing will be for the total.
