    Hi

I want to use the same revision number for different issue dates.

I have used Rev P1 Issued for planning 28 June 17 (drawings issued for planning)

I now want to issue new sheets/ drawings using (previously not issued)

Rev P1 Issued for Building Regs 31 Oct 17.

Revit won't allow me two P1 revisions.

How do new sheets get issues if the P (preliminary) prefix is already used

    Abdel

You can cheat & use "P1."

In the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog box, in the Numbering section, I have mine set to Per Sheet. This allows the issue numbers/letters to increment as appropriate for each individual sheet in the set - just as you want it I believe.

We don't use display the "Issued" parameters, so I use the revision sequence for display order only, then have the sheet and tags display the "Issued To" parameter, which is filled in as needed. We often have ASI's that don't affect the arch sheets, so this way dummy revisions aren't needed to get the numbers correct.
