    Saved back 9 versions

Yesterday one of my colleges tried to open the project he was working on the day before, which he saved at 17:19 - But upon opening, Revit asked if he wanted to upgrade it from 2009 to 2018 ?? What the *****

I should mention that we ONLY have 2018.1 installed on all the machines in the office. Also interesting that the filesize in the "2009" version had dropped from 215 mb to just 163 mb....

Has anyone else seen this behavior ?

Anyhow, we ended up using the last saved backup, which was 4+ hours old (Think that it´s gonna be a while before he chooses to hit "cancel" when hit by the Save promt)

Not sure if it was exactly that sequence, but I have seen Revit ask about upgrading when it can't figure out which version the file was saved in.
Perhaps the bits that kept the Version number went corrupt?

Or to save a file at precisely 17.19 is the holy grail of backward saving maybe you've found the easter egg of revit.
