different eave height revit arch 2016

Hi basic question but cant find a answer anywhere..
Simple hip & valley roof - house is at one level - garage is higher.
I create the roof at standard level then select the eave on the garage "plate offset from base" and adjust this say 3 course higher.

This gives me correct garage height but the shared valleys are now sqeauwiff (not sure if thats a word..) ie. valley line is not at the intersection.
How can I fix ? Align eave will fix valley but then height is wrong?

Looks like you need to run "Align Eaves" and change the roof overhang. Making the garage roof overhang come out farther should make the eaves and valleys line up.
