I'm trying to copy/monitor some lighting fixtures from an MEP model and they copy well enough but there are a number of parameters that are instance based instead of type based and when copied none of the parameters copy over. Is this one of those "working as intended" things or is there actually a way to do this that doesn't suck?
This a large project at ~186,000 sq. ft. and up until now our MEP engineer was modeling all the lighting fixtures. We now need to take over this scope...

I can copy monitor walls doors and stuff like that but how come I can't link in my Mechanical Consultant's model and copy monitor his pipes?
