Problem on linking IFC in Revit 2017

    Hello all,

I use the Revit 2017 and I want to Link an IFC file. It seems like the IFC file is linked (see attachments) but I cannot see anything! I have checked the imported categories in the V/G and I also have mapped an 'default template for IFC import'.

Could please someone tell me how I can solve the above problem?

    Thank you in advance!

    Regards,
    Maria

Check the phases. Even ifc has the phases

Have you gone into 3D view and ZE'd ? Sometimes the IFC get placed miles away . . .

And can you not select the IFC link in the browser and "show" ?

If it still isn't found then go through the standard search for something hidden, is it on a closed workset, etc., etc.

            Hello,

thank you for your answers! I have tried all the suggestions.
            -Check the 3D view ZE
            -The phase / phase filter
            -The V/G

            Any other suggestion?
            Thank you in advance!

try this way instead - in revit click on "open" then go to "IFC"

Once opened, save this model (it is now a *.rvt file)
now link the revit model, rather than the IFC.
