I have a strange situation. Normally, Elevation is a system family. When button for Elevations is clicked, the selection dropdown gives you options for various elevation types (Building, Interior, Working, etc.) you may have custom created. Importantly, it says "System Family: Elevation".
The situation I am facing does this: When the elevation button is clicked, the drop down doesn't show any of my custom options. instead it lists two drafting views
. when placed in the canvas, a very nondescript elevation tag (not made by us) shows up 
The weird thing is, it says "System Family: Drafting View"
The Elevation button is stuck on this, and I am unable to make new elevations in a normal fashion. If I select an elevation tag that was created before this problem started, then the properties palate dropdown show all the custom elevation types. So they are still there in the project, and haven't been deleted.
Anybody has an idea whats going on here?
