Colour shadows in a shadow study?

    Hi All,

Anyone out there know if there is a way in Revit to make shadows have color? We do a lot of shadow studies with comparative design options, and we like to show the options in color. Right now we have to take the printed sheets and tune them up in InDesign/Photoshop... It would be nice to cut those programs out of the equation...

    Please see attached:

    Thanks!

Does a coloured transparent material-assigned form (ie. mass) not cast a coloured shadow from the sun in a render? My coloured glass lampshades do. You could always give it a quick go with a plan-orientated 3D view (rather than a plan view).

Is it still the case in v2015 that in 3D views transparent elements will not cast shadows unless the view is set to Ray Trace?
Is it also the case that shadows will not be cast onto transparent elements in any view mode?
