    Coordination Views

We've been really getting into what I call Coordination Views lately
These are separate Views (in fact, we've even got a "Coordination Plan" Floor plan type) with special View Templates assigned that have either Filters or Color Schemes assigned.
They do things like show each Ceiling Type in a different color, or Room Finishes using the Key Schedule Type.

    My question:
Assuming you use something like this, do you have separate Views, or do you use the Temporarily Apply Template Properties override?

Separate views, because i have about 8 different types of Coordination Views, and some of them exist for the Consultants to be able to set their models to By Linked View of those views, to see things a certain way.

Whilst I have the basis of one in the template, they don't really come into fruition until projects are ticking along as each consultant tends to bring different things to the table. Of course our "stuff" is all nicely composed and filtered in view templates ready to recieve, likewise STR and MEP filters lie in wait, but (filter) search criteria still needs something to search for.

You didn't give a "both" option. I generally use separate views, but sometimes just want to do something quick and will use the temporary override setting.

I use coordination views types to show/ coordinate more specific information from our consultants. Often one type for each consultant and each one has its own view template. I even use a view type (in a separate linked project file) for linked cad files.
