Room not showing (but used to!)

Weird problem, I'm not sure how to explain it.

: I'm working on a church, we have about 4 floor levels, the entrance is at 0' elevation, then the main area slopes about down to the lowest level at -30" elevation, which is the Sanctuary. So I have a Floor Level at 0' with a few rooms, and a Sanctuary level, with only one room.

My problem: Originally the Nave room element was placed at the Floor Level (0'), showed up fine where it needed to, no issues. Well now it's only showing up on the Sanctuary Level, and the room tag is gone, and I can't re-tag it in the Floor Level, which is what is the floor plan we are using for our const. docs. That room element only shows up on the actual Sanctuary floor plan. I deleted it and replaced it on the Sanctuary level, and then it does show on the Floor Level, BUT it overflows into it, I have room separation lines and it still overflows into other rooms on the Floor level.

I'm I hope some of you can help me.

Based on the description I understand it as you needing the room at Floor level 0'
However it seems that you placed the room in the floor below Sanctuary
The room's height might not be level 0' but something above that and thats why it doesn't consider the room separation lines because its actually hosted on the level below.
Try deleting the room from the sanctuary level and reinsert it on the floor level 0'

I tried that, and that's when it's really weird.. When I place it on level 0', it only shows up on sanctuary level, below it.

have you checked the active workplane? maybe something got messed up there and your active workplane is the Sanct. Level

Yes the active work plane is the level I'm on. I check the room element, and it's Level is Floor Level.
One of my problems, was placing it on the actual Sanctuary level it would overflow into other rooms, even with room separations lines. BUT the room separation lines were placed on the floor level, and that's why it was overflowing, but I'm seeing the lines in the Sanctuary level, and in the properties of the lines, there is no option for what level they belong in, that's a little confusing. So i placed the room separations lines on the Sanctuary level, placed the room and it shows up fine where I need it.

Doesn't makes sense that when I place it in it's original location it won't show up, but luckily I don't need it there anymore. Still bothers me though.

That is weird. Im glad I was of some help. Hopefully some of the Gurus here will look at the thread and provide us with some answers

Yes I hope so!
It's weird, I drew in the room separation lines in the sanctuary level, the room element is working fine, but I can't see the actual lines. I check visibility and it's one, I do see the lines from the level above (floor level) and in that same floor level I see the ones from below, very weird!!
I'm scared my file might be corrupt (

Don't worry, it's not corrupt.
I think the problem lies within the View Range, especially the Cut Height. I think this is above the 30" height, so if you're in the Sanctuary View you will see the churchfloor. Even though this is a level up.
If you hide the floors and (if any) the toposurface in the sanctuary view I bet the Room Seperation Lines will show up. They are placed at 0" from the Sanctuary Level and are currently blocked out of view by the Church Floor.

The reason the rooms overflow is simple: Revit looks for walls on the corresponding level. There aren't any, so it will look for Room Seperation Lines placed on the corresponding level. It didn't find any because you placed these on the level above. Therefore you will get an overflow of rooms (without any warnings of multiple rooms in the same region if I'm correct).
