I'm having an issue getting a shared & nested window sill to cut my watertable that is on a brick wall. The nested family will cut the wall correctly but the wall sweep hates it and refuses to cut appropriately. I'm sure the answer is something simple but I'm stumped currently... Any thoughts?

In your sill family uncut a host(face) with a void so it will not cut it and reload a family, now use Cut tool and the window will cut off a part of the wall sweep.Add-ins: SolarDaylight analysis, Purger (delete UNUSED, selected line patterns&line styles, find&delete CAD), RoomsToSpaces, ScheduleUtilities (Calc. Values/Combined Params To Tags), ViewFilterManager (and more) in Autodesk App Store, ViewFilterManagerML (overwrite view templates and more), RvtToIfc (prepare links with DesignOptions)

Thanks for the feedback so far - I'll keep trying
edit: PijPiwo's solution worked, it just required setting the sweep to not cut by inserts :crazy:Last edited by cellophane; January 16, 2017, 03:35 PM.
